Dr. Lisa Anthony, INIT Lab Director

Lisa is an Associate Professor in the CISE Department at UF. Over the last fifteen years, she has worked on multimodal and advanced interaction technologies, such as speech, touch, and gesture, especially for children in the context of educational interfaces. Lisa earned her PhD in human-computer interaction from Carnegie Mellon University in 2008, and spent two years at Lockheed Martin Advanced Technology Laboratories and two years at UMBC prior to joining UF in August 2013.

 

 

PhD Students

Yu-Peng Chen, PhD in Computer Science, TBD

Yu-Peng Chen is a member of the INIT Lab and is currently working on the MyTrack+ project and the Biometrics/SATC project. His research interests include UX/UI Design, reinforcement learning, machine learning, and human-computer interaction.

 

 

Niriksha Regmi, PhD in Human-Centered Computing, TBD

Niriksha Regmi is a member of the INIT Lab and is currently working on the SATC and DARPA’s ENKIx. Her research interests include UX/UI Design and Human-Computer Interaction for AR/VR environments, natural interaction, gamifying, and games for education.

 

 

Dinank Bista, PhD in Human-Centered Computing, TBD

Dinank Bista is a member of the INIT Lab and is currently working on the MyTrack+ and SATC project. His research interests include Human AI Interactions, Human Computer Interactions, Machine learning, and AR/VR.

Oluwatomisin Obajemu, PhD in Human-Centered Computing, 2027

Oluwatomisin (Tomisin) Obajemu is a member of the INIT Lab and is currently working on the MyTrack+, ENKIx, and TIDESS projects. His research interests include Natural User Interactions and Human-AI interaction.

 

 

Undergraduate Students

Maeson Vallee, BS in Computer Science, TBD

Maeson Vallee is a member of the INIT Lab and is currently working on the TIDESS Project. She is an undergraduate student majoring in Computer Science with an interest in human-computer interaction, data analysis, and AI.

 

 

Chaitra Peddireddy, BS in Computer Science, TBD

Chaitra Peddireddy is an undergraduate student majoring in computer science and statistics. She is a member of the INIT Lab and is currently working on the TIDESS and SATC projects. Chaitra is interested in machine learning, human-computer interactions, and product design.

 

 

Ishvina Singh, BS in Computer Science, TBD

Ishvina Singh is an undergraduate research assistant studying Computer Science. She is a member of the INIT lab and is currently working on the MyTrack+ project. Her interests include human-computer interactions, data analysis, and learning more about computer science topics.
